Chocolatière de style empire, en argent massif, signé de l’orfevre Henri LAPPARRA fin XIX éme siècle ou début XX ème siècle.
De forme balustre cette chocolatière joue d’une simplicité exemplaire par ses lignes sobres et ses trois frises en feuilles d’eau, une sur le couvercle, une au départ de l’arrondît et une sur le pied.
Le petit couvercle ou l’on met le moussoir est articulé d’une charnière, une graine décorée de deux palmettes sert de prise.
Le couvercle monté d’une charnière est prolongé par le haut du bec verseur de forme mouvementée.
Au dessous sur cinq centimètres de hauteur une partie concave d’où sort le bec verseur decoré d’une grande palmette qui rejoint la frise et au dessous une fleur de lyse.
Le fût principal lisse se termine par une frise similaire aux deux autres.
Le manche est de couleur crème à matière noble aux décors de gaudrons et de plats, la partie ronde en argent où est vissé la prise est décorée de cignes aux ailes déployée.

La société est dissoute le 28 janvier 1924.

Empire style chocolate maker, in solid silver, signed by the goldsmith Henri LAPPARRA late 19th century or early 20th century.
Baluster-shaped, this chocolate maker has exemplary simplicity with its sober lines and three water-leaf friezes, one on the lid, one at the start of the round and one on the foot.
The small lid where the mousseur is placed is hinged, a seed decorated with two palmettes serves as a grip.
The hinged lid is extended by the top of the flowing spout.
Below, five centimeters high, a concave part from which emerges the pouring spout decorated with a large palmette which joins the frieze and below a fleur de lyse.
The main smooth shaft ends with a frieze similar to the other two.
The handle is cream colored with noble material decorated with gaudrons and dishes, the round silver part where the grip is screwed is decorated with swans with outstretched wings.
